About the FET-01p
The Coda Technologies FET-01p is a vintage solid-state preamplifier from the early 1990s, designed for superior audio performance with separate line and phono sections to minimize crosstalk. It includes front-panel controls for input selector, record selector, mode (mono/stereo/reverse), balance, and output level. Phono input resistance and capacitance are selectable via internal DIP switches. The unit uses J-FET devices in parallel for low-noise phono input and features a regulated power supply with zener diodes. It offers both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA connectivity, with high-quality RCA inputs/outputs. Paired originally with the Coda 100 amplifier system. Now discontinued, it is occasionally available used for around $800.
