The Cocktail Audio N15D is a compact hi-fi network music player, music server, streamer, and USB DAC that can add network playback, local storage, and streaming capability to an existing amplifier or DAC. It accepts an optional internal 2.5-inch SATA HDD or SSD and supports DLNA/UPnP server, client, and renderer functions, along with services and protocols including TIDAL, Qobuz, Deezer, Spotify Connect, Napster, AirPlay, and Roon Ready. Its ESS SABRE ES9018K2M DAC supports high-resolution PCM and DSD playback. Connections include stereo RCA analog output, coaxial and optical S/PDIF outputs, a USB-B Audio Class 2.0 input, USB host ports, Gigabit Ethernet, and optional Wi-Fi via a USB adapter. A 6.35 mm headphone output is also provided.
