About the Concept

The Clearaudio Concept turntable, introduced in 2009, combines elegant design with advanced technology typically found in high-end models. It features a resonance-optimized chassis made from medium-density fiberboard or solid wood with a satin-finished plastic top layer, a 30mm POM platter on an aluminum subplatter, and a decoupled 12V DC motor with belt drive for minimal noise. Speeds include 33⅓, 45, and 78 RPM with high accuracy (±0.04-0.05%). The integral Verify or optional Satisfy tonearm uses friction-free magnetic bearing technology. Available as packages with Concept MM (3.3mV output, 15 compliance, 2.0-2.5g tracking) or MC cartridges. Pre-assembled for easy setup, it delivers warm, clear analog sound and has sold over 20,000 units. Now discontinued and replaced by Concept Signature.
