The Clearaudio Concept MC is an affordable moving coil cartridge designed to bring Clearaudio's renowned MC technology to a broader audience. It features an innovative aluminum-magnesium alloy body with ceramic coating for superior damping and minimal resonance. The cartridge employs a boron cantilever paired with a Micro Line Contact stylus profile, delivering excellent trackability and information retrieval. With dual high-quality copper windings and hand-selected magnets for perfect channel balance, the Concept MC offers a refined sound characterized by fast, detailed playback with a surprisingly smooth and liquid midrange. It complements virtually any musical style and tonearm, making it an excellent upgrade option for existing turntables or a standard option on the Clearaudio Concept turntable. The cartridge is known for its high output level, eliminating the need for an ultra-quiet phono stage.
