The Clearaudio Universal Tonearm is a radial tonearm available in two sizes: 9 inches and 12 inches. It features ultra-low friction bearings, ensuring smooth and precise tracking of vinyl records. The tonearm is constructed from high-quality materials including aluminum (available in black and silver), stainless steel, and a carbon fiber tonearm tube (also in black and silver). The cartridge balance range for the 9-inch model is 2.9g to 24.8g, while the 12-inch model ranges from 2.9g to 21.0g. Both models come with Clearaudio Super Sixstream wiring terminated with RCA connectors. The 9-inch model has an overhang of 17mm, an effective length of 239mm, and weighs approximately 745g including the counterweight. The 12-inch model has an overhang of 13.01mm, an effective length of 308.01mm, and weighs about 760g with the counterweight. Both models are backed by a 5-year manufacturer's warranty.
