About the Universal 10

The Clearaudio Universal 10 tonearm is a mechanical and design masterpiece offering exceptional performance for vinyl playback. It features high precision ball bearings in both vertical and horizontal axes to minimize friction and bearing noise, ensuring accurate cartridge tracking without coloration or distortion. The tonearm tube is made of ultra-stiff yet lightweight carbon fiber, providing maximum stability and perfect tracking. It allows easy and exact azimuth adjustment and includes fine adjustments for vertical tracking angle (VTA) and tracking force, with an optional VTA-lifter enabling VTA adjustment during playback. The Universal 10 is compatible with almost all popular cartridges due to interchangeable counterweights and a fine scale for precise tracking force setting. Magnetic anti-skating reduces friction and enhances performance. The tonearm is hand-assembled in Germany using precision-machined parts for the highest accuracy. It comes with Clearaudio's Super Sixtream internal wiring terminated with RCA connectors and is available in black or silver finishes.
