The Clearaudio Titanium v2 moving coil cartridge is designed for perfect music reproduction with a 9-10 gram titanium body that minimizes resonances and enables a dynamic range of approximately 95 dB. It features a symmetrical generator design with 24-karat pure gold air-core coils and a boron cantilever with a Micro HD or Prime Line stylus for precise groove tracing and high-frequency linearity. The cartridge offers a frequency response from 20 Hz to 20 kHz (some sources note up to 100 kHz), an output voltage around 0.5 to 0.6 mV at 5 cm/sec, channel separation greater than 30 dB, and channel balance under 0.3 dB. Recommended tracking force is 2.8 g ± 0.2 g, with a compliance of 15 µm/mN. The titanium body is machined with a twelve-finger mounting plate design to suppress resonances and provide excellent shielding. It carries a 2-year warranty and is positioned just below Clearaudio's flagship Goldfinger cartridge in performance and price.
