The Clearaudio Performance DC Wood turntable combines advanced technology from Clearaudio's higher-tier models with a visually stunning and resonance-controlled Baltic birch wood plinth sandwiched between anodized aluminum plates. It features a precision-machined aluminum sub-platter fitted to a 40mm-thick polyoxymethylene (POM) platter supported by Clearaudio's patented ultra-smooth Ceramic Magnetic Bearing (CMB). The turntable uses a decoupled and resonance-damped DC motor with electronic speed selection and user-accessible trim pots for fine speed adjustment. Speeds of 33 1/3, 45, and 78 rpm are selected via illuminated buttons ergonomically placed on the front left of the chassis. The plinth rests on three Innovation series locking and leveling aluminum cone feet for stable acoustic isolation. The interchangeable armboard design accommodates various high-end tonearms, including Clearaudio's Tracer, Satisfy Carbon Fiber, and TT-5 linear arms. The turntable weighs approximately 11 kg and measures about 420 x 330 x 125 mm (W/D/H without tonearm). It comes with a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty when the warranty card is properly registered.
