The Clearaudio Concept 1 turntable combines high-end technology with plug-and-play simplicity, making it ideal for audiophiles seeking excellent sound quality at an affordable price. It features a resonance-optimized chassis made from medium-density wood fiber or optionally pressure-formed solid wood with a high-tech satined plastic compound layer to minimize resonance. The turntable is belt-driven by a decoupled and resonance-damped 12V DC motor with a flat belt and an external voltage-stabilized power supply, isolating the record from mechanical interference. The bearing consists of a polished and tempered steel spindle running in a sintered bronze housing on a Teflon thrust pad. The platter is 30mm thick, made of synthetic material with a precision CNC-machined aluminum sub-platter. Speed options include 33 1/3, 45, and 78 rpm with a speed accuracy of ±0.05%.
