About the Crimson II High Current
The Clarus Crimson MK II High Current Power Cable is engineered for power-hungry audio components such as amplifiers, receivers, and powered subwoofers. It features Pure Continuous Cast Copper (PCCC) conductors with a multi-gauge design to preserve signal dynamics and ultra-low resistance. The cable employs triple-layer shielding including aluminum foil and silver-plated copper braid to block radio frequency and electromagnetic interference, ensuring a very low noise floor. Proprietary winding techniques with alternating lays and twists cancel magnetic fields and reduce distortion. Connector contacts and termination pins are made from C1100 pure copper, rated at 101% electrical conductivity, and gold-plated to prevent oxidation. The connector housing is machined from polymethylene (POM) and covered with brass and carbon fiber layers for mechanical strength and vibration damping. The cable is terminated with high-retention US Type B (NEMA 5-15P) and IEC C15 connectors to prevent accidental disconnection. Handcrafted in Orlando, FL, this cable delivers rich, detailed, and immersive sound performance for high-end audiophile systems.
