The Chord Company Sarum T is a high-performance cable range that brings Chord's breakthrough Taylon proprietary insulation material to a more accessible price point compared to the flagship ChordMusic line. The Sarum T range includes analog interconnects, digital cables, speaker cables, and power leads. It builds on the success of the original Sarum Super ARAY cables by upgrading from PTFE (Teflon) dielectric to Taylon, which Chord claims is phase-stable at room temperatures and delivers striking performance improvements. The cables feature high-purity, silver-plated, micro-polished oxygen-free copper conductors arranged in Super ARAY geometry. Sarum T delivers enhanced detail retrieval, improved clarity, extended bass and treble response, greater speed, and improved spatial information while reducing noise, grain, and smear. The sound is characterized as smooth, coherent, and musical with excellent tonal balance and minimal coloration. Users report more prominent high frequencies, tighter bass, quieter backgrounds, and easier instrument separation. The cables are hand-built at Chord's UK factory and available in multiple connector configurations.
