About the Hugo M Scaler
The Chord Electronics Ltd. Hugo M Scaler is a standalone digital upscaler/upsampler, not a DAC. It uses Chord’s proprietary WTA filter technology and a Xilinx FPGA to upsample incoming PCM and DSD-derived signals to very high-rate PCM, intended to feed a compatible DAC.
