About the ChordMusic

The ChordMusic Analogue Interconnect is the flagship analogue cable from Chord Company, designed for uncompromising signal transfer with exceptional clarity, neutrality, and musical coherence. It uses a unique insulation material called Taylon®, exclusive to Chord Company, which is phase stable and an improvement over traditional PTFE insulation. The cable employs the advanced Super ARAY conductor configuration, a development of the original Tuned ARAY design, which enhances musical detail and coherence. Conductors are micro-polished, silver-plated, and combined with Taylon® insulation to minimize tonal coloration. The cable construction includes three external layers of noise-reducing materials to reduce mechanical and electromagnetic interference, including a metallic external braid beneath the outer jacket. Terminations are available in RCA, XLR, and DIN formats, with custom lengths and terminations available. The cable is hand-built to order and is noted for its natural vocal texture, instrumental timbre, and remarkable coherence across the frequency range, making it highly musically involving and transparent.
