About the Musiko

The Charisma Audio Musiko Tonearm is a medium mass uni-pivot tonearm designed to accommodate most moving coil and moving magnet cartridges weighing between 5 g and 17 g. Unlike most uni-pivot tonearms that use silicone for stabilization and damping, the Musiko employs an adjustable ring magnet damping system, providing better stability and control without the mess of silicone fluid. The tonearm does not include a cable but uses internal wiring and a male DIN plug made by Cardas, compatible with any tonearm cable having a standard female DIN connector. It features vertical tracking angle (VTA) and azimuth adjustments, and rubber rings are used to dampen the armtube and counterweight. The Musiko is praised for its smooth bearings, ease of mounting, and musical performance, making it suitable for a wide range of cartridges and audiophile setups.
