About the Pure Vinyl
Pure Vinyl is a professional audiophile software developed by Channel D for Macintosh systems, designed specifically for high-resolution vinyl LP archival and playback. It offers a seamless and flexible workflow for transferring LPs into the digital domain, supporting real-time LP ripping with advanced features such as 65 built-in EQ curves including standard RIAA and exotic mono EQs, and the ability to create custom EQ curves. The software performs all internal signal processing at 64-bit double-precision floating point resolution to preserve audio fidelity and reduce distortion. Pure Vinyl also includes a high-quality sample rate converter capable of converting high-definition audio (up to 192 kHz/24-bit) to CD format (44.1 kHz) with high precision. It supports any CoreAudio compatible interface with at least 2 input and 2 output channels and offers integration with iTunes for music playback and tagging. The software is optimized to work especially well with Channel D's Seta phono preamp and Lynx Hilo DAC/preamp, creating a highly efficient LP-to-PCM digital transfer system. Additional features include automatic stylus drop/lift recording triggering, built-in loudspeaker crossover, and a music server for automated playback. Pure Vinyl has been continuously developed since 1996 and remains a leading solution for audiophiles seeking high-quality vinyl digitization and playback.
