About the M1.1
The CH Precision M1.1 is a Swiss-made, modular two-channel reference solid-state power amplifier. Its two amplifier channels can be configured for stereo, high-current monaural, bridged monaural, passive bi-amplification, or active bi-amplification. Input boards are configurable (one or two boards), allowing a stereo M1.1 to be upgraded into a pair of monaural amplifiers. The fully discrete Class-AB design uses JFET differential input circuitry, six complementary transistor pairs in the output stage, a 2,200 VA toroidal output-stage transformer, and two custom 120,000 µF / 100 V ultra-low-ESR/ESL reservoir capacitors. User-adjustable gain, global-feedback ratio, input impedance, operating mode, and Ethernet-based control support system matching. The M1.1 is listed on CH Precision’s current product website; the earlier M1 was discontinued and replaced by the M1.1.
