About the Pearl-30D

The Cayin Pearl 30D is the flagship DAC in Cayin's Pearl series, launched to celebrate the company's 30th anniversary and positioned as a pure high-end digital source component. It is part of a three-piece lineup that also includes the Pearl 30i integrated amplifier and Pearl 30c CD transport, and like the other models it uses a dual-chassis design with a completely separate power-supply unit to minimize noise and enhance overall performance. The Pearl 30D features two distinct DAC hardware architectures that provide Classic and Modern decoding systems (plus an Auto mode), allowing the listener to select different tonal presentations while maintaining extremely high resolution and accuracy in digital-to-analog conversion. Engineered as a state-of-the-art D/A converter, it incorporates advanced jitter-reduction, high-performance clocking, and a wide range of digital inputs (including IIS over HDMI, AES/EBU, multiple coaxial S/PDIF, ST glass and Toslink optical, and USB audio), feeding both single-ended RCA and balanced XLR analog outputs for integration into top-tier audio systems.
