About the Davanti
The Carnegie Acoustics Davanti is a bookshelf loudspeaker known for its accurate imaging and sound quality. It shares the same cabinet design as the AV1 model and features drivers that are replicas of a Danny design, essentially copies of the AV1 drivers but without the No-Rez treatment. The speaker has a sensitivity of 89dB at 2.83V/m and an impedance of 8 ohms, making it suitable for amplifiers in the 50-150 watt range. The Davanti pairs well with super tweeters such as the Aperion Audio MKII and can be integrated with subwoofers using an LFE output at around 80Hz for enhanced low-frequency performance. It is appreciated for its extreme imaging accuracy and is often used in high-fidelity audio setups.
