About the Golden Cross
The Cardas Golden Cross Speaker Cables are top-of-the-line high-end speaker cables featuring patented Golden Section stranding based on the Golden Ratio, designed to reduce noise and resonance for superior sound quality. They use 752 discrete pure copper conductors (equivalent to 5.5 AWG) arranged in a multi-gauge, helical hex array with constant Q and Crossfield construction. The cables are double-shielded with Teflon and air dielectrics and have a urethane jacket for durability. They are internally single-, bi-, and tri-wireable and terminated with Cardas Rhodium spades. These cables are known for their neutrality, musicality, excellent soundstaging, and refined, detailed sound with a warm and rich bloom. They require a break-in period of over 400 hours to reach optimal performance.
