About the Quadlink
The Cardas Quadlink is a mid-line interconnect cable designed with elements echoing George Cardas' original cables, offering great value for audiophiles. It features a .375" outer diameter with PFA and air dielectric, double shielding, and a ferrite choke on the output end. The conductors are made of Golden Ratio scaled, Constant Q, Crossfield, pure copper Litz strands, which reduce resonance and electromagnetic interference. Terminations include Cardas silver/rhodium plated GRMO RCA plugs or Neutrik XLR connectors. The Quadlink cables provide a warm, textured sound with a large soundstage and articulate bass, balancing speed, detail, fluidity, and refinement. They are known for a neutral but slightly warm tonal character, with less high-frequency shimmer compared to brighter cables, aiming to reduce ringing for greater accuracy. The Quadlink line includes interconnect, speaker, and power cables, though the entire Quadlink series has been discontinued and replaced by the Parsec line, which incorporates higher performing conductors and similar design geometries.
