About the Golden Reference

The Cardas Golden Reference series was a former flagship line of interconnects, speaker cables, and power cords that combined Golden Section Stranding, constant-Q strands, and multi-gauge Litz conductors to achieve a neutral yet harmonically rich sound. The design uses conductors sized and arranged according to Golden Ratio-derived relationships, with individually enameled copper strands in a carefully damped, multi-layer dielectric system to control resonances and reduce noise, aiming to blend the tonal richness of Golden Cross with the neutrality and resolution of Neutral Reference.
