The Canare L-4E6S Star Quad Microphone Cable has been an industry standard for over 40 years, widely used in sound touring, broadcast studios, and on-location applications. It features a 4-conductor star quad construction that minimizes the loop area between conductor twists, providing a double-balanced pairing that significantly reduces susceptibility to electromagnetically induced noise, including SCR dimmer noise from stage lighting. This cable is designed primarily for microphones but is also excellent for all line-level signals such as mixer to power amps. It includes a braided copper shield and cotton filler material to reduce handling noise and rejects EMI and RFI effectively. The insulation is made of special irradiated polyethylene for low capacitance and excellent frequency response. The cable is flexible, satin smooth to the touch, and extra strong, with 40 strands per conductor to prevent breakage due to flexing.
