The Andromeda 10 SE Gold is a special launch edition in-ear monitor (IEM) from Campfire Audio, marking their 10th anniversary of IEM production. It expands the iconic Andromeda series with a new 10-driver balanced armature configuration (4 low-frequency, 4 mid-frequency, 2 high-frequency drivers), retaining the classic just-north-of-neutral tonality while enhancing clarity, speed, detail, resolution, depth, layering, immersion, and cohesion. This model features a precision-machined PVD black stainless steel housing topped with a genuine gold Damascus steel lid, gold fastener rings, black inlay, and gold fasteners. It introduces 2-pin connectors for the first time in the Andromeda line, along with newly designed Noise-Elimination Mid-Circuit (NEMC) technology and TAEC tuning element for reduced noise, greater clarity, and improved diaphragm stability. The custom premium cable uses 6-8 thick gauge 7N OCC gold-plated copper conductors, designed to accentuate the tuning with precision, detail, staging, and a touch of color. Accessories include a new large off-white leather zipper hardshell case, beige two-pocket Breezy Micro mesh bag, and multiple ear tip sets (Marshmallow silicone S/M/L, standard silicone S/M/L, high-and-clear silicone S/M/L) with an eartip carry case. Only 75 units of the Gold edition were produced. Sonically, it delivers balanced performance with punchy textured bass, natural realistic mids, extended airy treble, excellent imaging, spacious 3D soundstage, and strong instrument separation.
