About the BDP-2

The Bryston BDP-2 is a state-of-the-art digital music player designed to handle high-resolution audio formats such as AIFF, FLAC, and WAV up to 24 bits at 192 kHz, as well as standard formats like MP3. It features six USB 2.0 ports for digital audio input, with the potential for future upgrade to include two additional USB 3.0 ports. The device outputs digital signals via SPDIF and AES/EBU ports, allowing connection to external digital-to-analog converters like Bryston's BDA-1. It includes two gigabit Ethernet ports for network connectivity and supports NAS connectivity. The BDP-2 is powered by an Intel Atom N450 processor and features a custom motherboard with significantly increased system memory compared to its predecessor, the BDP-1. It can be controlled locally via its front panel and remote control, or remotely using Bryston's web apps and mobile devices. The device has no moving parts, ensuring silent operation.
