About the BDA-3
The Bryston BDA-3 is a high-performance digital-to-analog converter with four HDMI inputs, two asynchronous USB 2.0 Type-B inputs, AES/EBU, coaxial S/PDIF on RCA and BNC, and Toslink optical input. It supports PCM up to 32-bit/384 kHz and DSD up to DSD256 via USB, while HDMI can accept two-channel audio and DSD from compatible sources, including SACD players. Analog outputs are provided on balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA connections, with nominal output levels of 4.0 V and 2.0 V respectively. HDMI video pass-through allows video sources to be routed to a display while the BDA-3 processes their two-channel audio.
