About the B60R

The B60R is a solid-state integrated amplifier that combines Bryston's BP-6 preamplifier and 2B-LP power amplifier in a single chassis, focusing on high sound quality and simple operation. It features a machined and anodized aluminum enclosure with a straightforward front panel including input selection, balance, and volume controls, plus a 6.3 mm headphone jack and tape loop. The rear panel provides four line-level RCA inputs, a tape loop, and pre-out/main-in RCA jacks, along with 5-way speaker binding posts, enabling use of the preamplifier and power amplifier sections separately if desired. A true dual-mono power section delivers 60 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 100 watts per channel into 4 ohms, and the unit is fully convection-cooled with an independently buffered headphone output. The B60R is compatible with the BR-2 infrared remote control, which adds remote volume and mute functions, and was offered with optional MM phono and 96 kHz/24-bit DAC modules.
