The Bryston 14B ST is a stereo 2-channel power amplifier using two fully independent amplifier modules, each with its own power transformer and dedicated power supply, making it essentially a dual-mono design. Each channel provides balanced or single-ended inputs via XLR or 1/4" TRS for balanced, and RCA for unbalanced, with selectable input sensitivity. It delivers a minimum of 500 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 800 watts per channel into 4 ohms, with distortion not more than 0.005% at rated power and a signal-to-noise ratio of approximately -115 dB. The 14B ST has a damping factor of about 500 at 20 Hz into 8 ohms, a frequency response of 0.5 Hz to 100 kHz at 500 W, and a slew rate of at least 60 V/µs. Bryston's quad complementary output circuitry is used to achieve high linearity, low distortion, and high speed, and the amplifier maintains drive capability even into very low impedance loads. The chassis measures approximately 483 mm wide, 178 mm high, and 483 mm deep, with a weight of about 38.5 kg. Known for powerful, controlled bass and long-term reliability, it is supported by Bryston's 20-year transferable warranty.
