About the Spyder

The Brinkmann Audio Spyder is a versatile reference-class turntable designed to accept up to four 9-inch to 12-inch tonearms, with a plinth-less open chassis for flexible arm placement. It uses Brinkmann’s Sinus 4-phase, 12-pole motor, a hydrostatic zero-maintenance bearing with heating, and a heavy alloy/crystal platter for speed stability and low noise. The standard configuration includes an external solid-state power supply, with the optional RöNt II vacuum-tube supply available for further performance refinement.
