The Brinkmann Integrated Amplifier (often referred to by Brinkmann as the "Vollverstarker") is a high-end stereo integrated amplifier with a minimalist, purist design and substantial power output. It uses a double monophonic circuit topology with carefully selected audiophile-grade components, and is often described by Brinkmann and specialist retailers as effectively a stereo power amplifier with high input sensitivity combined with a passive line stage, prioritizing transparency and musicality. Output power is 2x70 W RMS into 8 ohms and 2x100 W RMS into 4 ohms, with a frequency response from DC (0 Hz) to 250 kHz, input sensitivity around 300 mV / 20 kOhm, a signal-to-noise ratio of 92 dB (A-weighted), and THD/IM distortion of 0.01% / 0.05%. The amplifier provides four RCA line inputs, a record (tape) output, a speaker output per channel, and a front-panel headphone output driven by a dedicated headphone amplifier stage, along with a simple, function-focused control layout of essential controls only (input selector, volume, power/standby) plus the headphone jack. Dimensions are 440 x 85 x 310 mm (WxHxD) and it weighs 14 kg. A dedicated infrared remote control is included for volume and standby. Brinkmann lists the Integrated Amplifier / Vollverstarker as discontinued, though it remains available used and is still regarded as a highly musical, well-engineered integrated amplifier.
