The Bright Star Audio Air Mass is a low rectangular isolation platform constructed from MDF with a speckled granite-look finish available in medium gray or near-black. It features an inner air bladder (similar to a bicycle inner tube) glued inside the top surface, which can be inflated via an accessible valve using the included hand pump or any bicycle pump. This pneumatic design isolates audio components from floorborne vibrations, improving sound clarity and reducing resonance. The Air Mass comes in several models: the Air Mass 3 holds up to 100 pounds and is ideal for DACs, transports, CD players, and preamps, The Air Mass is best used on a rack shelf or amp stand and can be combined with Bright Star's Big Rock and Little Rock products for enhanced isolation performance. The design focuses on simplicity and effectiveness, with the air bladder selection being a key factor in balancing performance and cost.
