The Bricasti Design M12 is a sophisticated preamplifier and DAC that offers advanced digital-to-analog conversion capabilities, making it a versatile component for high-end audio systems. It features a dual-mono design with separate power supplies for left and right channels, ensuring minimal distortion and noise. The M12 supports a wide range of digital formats, including PCM up to 384kHz/32-bit and DSD up to DSD256, and includes multiple digital inputs such as USB, AES/EBU, and S/PDIF. Additionally, it offers analog inputs for integrating turntables and other analog sources. The device also supports network streaming via Ethernet, allowing it to be used as a DLNA device for streaming audio from network servers. The analog gain control is precise, with a range of 90 dB adjustable in one-decibel steps, and it is fully remote-controlled.
