About the B-302A Urban

The Bozak B-302A Urban is a classic 3-way, 3-speaker floor-type system based on the B-300 cabinet, featuring a 30 cm cone woofer (B-199A), 16 cm cone midrange (B-209 or B-209B), and two 5 cm cone tweeters (B-200Y) integrated in a coaxial low/high unit (B-207A). It uses the N-10102 crossover network with crossovers at 800 Hz and 2.5 kHz (6 dB/octave). Known for warm sound, full bass, and excellent stereo imaging, these walnut-finished speakers from the early 1960s often feature original wax-paper capacitors that benefit from upgrades to modern film types. Produced in Norwalk, CT, they are highly regarded vintage pieces no longer manufactured.
