About the Concert Grand B-410
The Bozak Audio Lab Concert Grand B-410 is a legendary loudspeaker system introduced in 1951 and renowned for its ability to faithfully recreate sound across the full audio spectrum. It features a large 14-speaker configuration including 4 bass speakers (B-199A, 8 ohm), 2 midrange speakers (B-209B, 16 ohm), and 4 pairs of treble speakers (B-200Y), all integrated with an N-104 crossover network. The cabinet is heavily damped and rigidly constructed with 1.5-inch thick front baffle and sides for extra rigidity, and the midrange drivers are isolated from the woofer compartment to reduce interference. The midrange drivers use a 5¼" aluminum diaphragm coated with latex rubber to minimize LP tracing distortions, while the tweeters employ a dual-cone design with aluminum diaphragms coated and damped for smooth high-frequency response. The system weighs approximately 225 lbs and is highly regarded for its seamless integration of drivers and exceptional imaging capabilities. It is considered a supreme achievement in vintage hi-fi loudspeaker design and is prized by collectors and audiophiles for its rich, natural sound and build quality.
