About the DB1

The DB1 is a powered subwoofer in a sealed enclosure with two 12-inch long-throw Rohacell-cone woofers, each equipped with a 3.66-inch voice coil and 11-lb magnet. It delivers a frequency response of 17–145Hz ±3dB and is powered by a 1000W RMS Class D amplifier. The subwoofer includes advanced digital signal processing (DSP) with an Analog Devices Sigma chip that manages auto calibration, low-pass filtering, phase control, a five-band graphic equalizer, and room compensation software. It supports stereo unbalanced RCA inputs, mono LFE unbalanced RCA, and mono balanced XLR inputs. The DB1 offers five user presets, input sensitivity, gain, low-pass frequency, slope, phase controls, and RS-232 automation control. The enclosure is constructed with 1-inch thick MDF and internal bracing to minimize vibration, finished in Piano Black Gloss, Cherrywood, or Rosenut. Dimensions are 19.3" H x 18.1" W x 16.2" D, weighing 97 lbs (44 kg). It includes accessories such as a calibration microphone, USB soundcard, interconnect cables, and feet for setup. The DB1 is designed for ultimate performance as a single unit, with a 5-year warranty on drivers and 2 years on electronics.
