About the CM1 S2

The Bowers & Wilkins CM1 S2 is a compact 2-way vented-box bookshelf speaker featuring a 25mm Decoupled Double Dome aluminum tweeter and a 130mm woven Kevlar cone bass/midrange driver. It delivers a frequency response of 50Hz to 28kHz ±3dB, with a sensitivity of 84dB (2.83V, 1m) and nominal impedance of 8 ohms (minimum 4 ohms). The speaker is designed with Flowport technology to minimize turbulence and a bass driver with magnet system technology to reduce distortion, resulting in deep, fast, and tuneful bass. The cabinet is exquisitely veneered and available in finishes including Gloss Black, Rosenut, Satin White, and Wenge. Dimensions are 280mm (H) x 165mm (W) x 276mm (D) including grille and terminals, and each speaker weighs approximately 6.7 kg. Recommended amplifier power is 30 to 100 watts. The CM1 S2 improves upon the original CM1 with updated acoustic technologies, improved internal components, and a Decoupled Double Dome tweeter for enhanced precision and power.
