The Bowers & Wilkins CM Centre 2 is a 3-way bass reflex centre speaker manufactured between 2009 and 2014. It features two 165 mm Kevlar cone woofers, one 100 mm FST Kevlar cone midrange driver, and a 25 mm aluminium dome tweeter with Nautilus tube loading and decoupled double dome technology for crystal clear dialogue and high-frequency response. The speaker has an efficiency of 89 dB (2.83 V, 1 m), frequency response from 56 Hz to 22 kHz, and crossover frequencies at 350 Hz and 4 kHz. It has an impedance of 8 Ohm (minimum 3 Ohm) and is recommended for use with amplifiers delivering 30 to 200 W into 8 Ohm. The cabinet is available in Gloss Black, Red Walnut, and Wenge finishes, with dimensions of 590 x 218 x 280 mm (W x H x D) and a weight of approximately 18.7 kg. The CM Centre 2 is designed to deliver powerful bass and midrange performance with precise microdynamics, making it suitable for large home cinema setups. It includes improved internal components such as crossover, wiring, and terminals, and features magnetic tweeter grilles and a minimalist metal aesthetic.
