About the CI600

The Bowers & Wilkins CI600 Series includes various models of in-wall and in-ceiling speakers engineered for high fidelity sound in custom home audio installations. Key features include 1-inch Nautilus tube-loaded aluminum dome or soft dome tweeters that absorb unwanted sonic radiation for enhanced clarity, and midbass drivers made from woven Aramid fiber or black glass fiber cones for powerful, clear bass and midrange. The speakers have a paintable magnetic grille and a Quick Dog mounting system for fast, tool-less installation. The series covers a frequency range from approximately 45 Hz to 50 kHz, with power handling from 25 to 150 watts depending on the model. The chassis is made from cast aluminum for rigidity and superior performance compared to plastic baskets. Models include the CWM663 with a 6-inch Aramid fiber cone and aluminum tweeter, the CWM664 with a 6-inch glass fiber cone and soft dome tweeter, and the CWM652 with a 5-inch Aramid fiber cone. The CI600 Series improves on the previous CI300 range by combining next-level performance with innovative installation features, suitable for two-channel hi-fi, multi-room audio, and home cinema applications.
