About the CDM 7NT

The Bowers & Wilkins CDM 7NT is a high-performance floorstanding loudspeaker designed with advanced technologies such as the Nautilus tube-loaded tweeter and Kevlar cone drivers for midrange and bass. It features a 2.5-way vented-box system with a 25mm alloy dome tweeter, a 165mm woven Kevlar cone mid/bass driver, and an additional 165mm woven paper/Kevlar cone bass driver. The speaker offers an extended bass response, high sensitivity, and a wide frequency range from 40Hz to 20kHz ±3dB. Its cabinet is finished in real wood veneers including Black Ash, Cherrywood, and Red Stained Cherrywood, complemented by black cloth grilles. The design includes Flowport technology with dimpled ports to reduce air turbulence and chuffing noise, enhancing bass clarity. Dimensions are 950mm height, 220mm width, and 290mm depth, with a nominal impedance of 8 ohms and recommended amplifier power between 50 and 150 watts. The CDM 7NT was manufactured in England and is known for its precise, well-focused high-frequency sound and dynamic bass output.
