About the CT 7.4

The B&W CT 7.4 is a custom theater speaker, often classified as a 3-way vented-box system. It features a 1-inch cloth dome high-frequency driver, a 6-inch woven Aramid Fiber FST midrange driver, and two 8-inch Paper/Aramid Fiber bass units. This configuration allows for superior sound reproduction across a wide frequency range, making it suitable for use in surround sound systems. The speaker is designed to provide clear and immersive audio, with a frequency response of 42Hz to 22kHz ±3dB on the reference axis. It has a sensitivity of 92 dB SPL (2.83V, 1m) and a nominal impedance of 8 ohms, with recommended amplifier power ranging from 50W to 200W into 8 ohms. The CT 7.4 is available in black and is designed for custom installation in home theaters.
