About the 685 S2

The Bowers & Wilkins 685 S2 is a compact two-way bass-reflex standmount loudspeaker from the 600 Series. It combines a 165 mm woven Kevlar® bass/midrange driver with a 25 mm decoupled double-dome aluminium tweeter featuring Nautilus™ tube loading. The speaker has a 52 Hz–22 kHz frequency response (±3 dB), 87 dB sensitivity, an 8-ohm nominal impedance, and a recommended amplifier power of 25–100 W. It was offered in Black Ash and White finishes.
