The Bowers & Wilkins 800D Mk III is a flagship 3-way vented-box loudspeaker designed for audiophiles seeking ultimate sound quality. It features a 1-inch diamond dome high-frequency tweeter with a quad magnet motor system for reduced distortion and extended frequency response beyond human hearing. The midrange driver uses a 6-inch Continuum cone with FST™ technology for precise detail retrieval, while the bass section employs two 10-inch Aerofoil cone drivers with dual magnet motor systems for smooth, linear bass performance. The speaker cabinet incorporates advanced Matrix™ construction and Flowport™ technology to minimize resonance and enhance bass response. It offers a frequency range of 13Hz to 35kHz (-6dB), frequency response of 15Hz to 28kHz (+/-3dB), sensitivity of 90dB SPL at 2.83V/1m, and nominal impedance of 8 ohms (minimum 3.0 ohms).
