The Bose Wave Music System IV delivers lifelike, room-filling sound from a compact tabletop system that fits nearly anywhere in your home. It features proprietary dual tapered waveguide speaker technology that amplifies sound from small speakers through 26-inch folded waveguides, producing performance beyond its size. The system includes a built-in CD player compatible with CD-Audio, CD-R, and CD-RW discs, supporting MP3 playback with song and artist information displayed on the front panel. It has an advanced AM/FM tuner with radio text display and six presets for each band. Control is via a slim infrared remote or a touch-sensitive pad on the top for on/off and snooze functions. Dual independent alarms with gently rising volume make it suitable as a clock radio. An auxiliary input and headphone jack provide additional connectivity. The optional Bluetooth music adapter allows wireless streaming from smartphones, tablets, or computers, storing up to six devices for instant access without software or network configuration. The system comes with a demonstration CD, remote control, AC power cord, and owner's guide. It is available in Espresso Black and features a fresh, updated design with automatic nighttime dimming on the large display.
