The Bogen B62 turntable, also known as the Lenco L70, was introduced in 1959 and produced until 1967. It is a heavy, idler-wheel driven turntable with a four-pole, heavy-duty, constant velocity motor and an 11-3/4 inch rubber-padded platter. The platter weighs approximately 8 pounds (3.6 kg). The turntable is known for its robust build and professional-type design, including a balanced platter and a manual tonearm mounting hole that accepts various tonearms. It weighs about 22 pounds and measures approximately 18 inches wide by 14 inches deep and 6 inches high including the cover. The B62 is a dressed-up version of the B61, featuring a charcoal grey finish instead of plain light grey. It supports playback of 33, 45, and 78 RPM records. The tonearm is roughly 10 inches long, with adjustable bearings but lacks anti-skate. The turntable is favored for restoration projects and vintage audio enthusiasts due to its solid construction and classic idler-wheel drive system.
