The Bob's Devices CineMag Sky 10 is a high-quality step-up transformer (SUT) designed for low-output moving coil cartridges to connect to a moving magnet phono input. It features hand-crafted construction using CineMag SKY (Blue Version) transformers with gold-plated hardware housed in a hand-polished black powder-coated cast-aluminum enclosure with laser-etched lettering. The unit includes two premium C&K silver-contact toggle switches for switching between high and low gain (1:5 or 1:10 ratio) and ground lift options. It uses specially designed ultra-high quality laminations and lower inductance transformers for extended bandwidth and superior sound quality. The transformer is wired to connect a moving coil cartridge on a turntable to a phono preamplifier or receiver's MM input. Optional XLR connectors are available on a larger custom chassis.
