The Bluesound Vault 2 is a network music player and digital music storage device featuring a 2TB ultra-quiet hard drive and a slot-loading CD ripper. It allows users to rip CDs directly to the hard drive in lossless high-resolution FLAC or WAV formats, space-saving MP3, or both simultaneously. The Vault 2 supports streaming of high-resolution audio files up to 24-bit/192kHz and MQA, and integrates with popular streaming services such as Tidal, Qobuz, Spotify, and Deezer. It connects to a home network via Gigabit Ethernet for stable streaming and can act as a NAS drive for music storage and playback. The device supports multi-room streaming with other Bluesound players via WiFi or wired connections, controlled through the BluOS Controller app available on iOS, Android, Windows, and Mac. Additional features include AirPlay 2, aptX HD Bluetooth for high-quality wireless streaming, and voice control compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Apple Siri. The Vault 2 offers multiple analog and digital inputs and outputs, including stereo RCA, optical digital, coaxial digital, and a combined 3.5mm optical/analog input. It is available in black or white matte finishes and weighs approximately 1.8 kg with dimensions of 220 x 90 x 192 mm (WxHxD).
