About the VAULT 1

The Bluesound Vault 1st generation is designed to store and protect your entire digital music library on a 2TB hard drive. It rips audio CDs in lossless FLAC format, as well as space-saving MP3, allowing you to digitize your CD collection without a computer. The Vault streams high-resolution audio files up to 24-bit/192kHz to multiple Bluesound players throughout your home. It supports a variety of audio formats including FLAC, WAV, AIFF, AAC, WMA, and MP3 with gapless playback. The device features a shareable access point to all other devices on the same network, enabling seamless music sharing and streaming. It is controlled wirelessly via the BluOS Controller app available for iOS, Android, Kindle Fire, Windows, and Mac OS X. The Vault is available in black or white finishes and includes physical controls on the top panel for volume and playback. It connects to your audio system via analog RCA outputs, coaxial and optical digital outputs, and includes a subwoofer output and analog/digital input options. The device measures approximately 8.7"W x 3.54"H x 7.55"D and weighs about 4 pounds. It does not play CDs directly but rips them to the internal hard drive for playback. The Vault supports streaming from internet radio, cloud music services, and local music libraries, providing a comprehensive high-fidelity music experience without the need for a computer.
