About the VAULT 1

The Bluesound VAULT 1 (also listed as VAULT/V500B) is a first-generation, wired-network digital music player, CD ripper and music-library server. It combines a slot-loading optical drive for ripping standard audio CDs with a 1 TB internal hard-disk drive, network playback, Internet radio, USB-media playback and fixed-level analog/digital audio outputs. Control was provided through the Bluesound app for iOS and Android. It is a legacy product and lacks wireless networking, Bluetooth, HDMI, headphone output and contemporary streaming features such as AirPlay, Chromecast, Roon Ready, Spotify Connect and TIDAL Connect. Some services named in its original literature, including WiMP and Rdio, are no longer active under those names.
