About the MC Silver

The Benz Micro Silver Moving Coil phono cartridge delivers much of the natural tonal balance and high accuracy of more expensive models. It features a 2.0mV output voltage, making it compatible with regular Moving Magnet phono preamps. Designed for excellent trackability and channel separation, it reproduces musical subtlety and three-dimensional imaging with a flat frequency response from 20Hz to 25kHz. The cartridge uses an aluminum alloy cantilever with an elliptical diamond stylus (0.3 x 0.7 mil tip radius) and has a vertical tracking angle of 20°. It is recommended for medium to high tonearm mass and requires a tracking force of about 2 grams. The cartridge weighs 5.7 grams and has an internal impedance of 120 ohms. It comes with a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects and requires a break-in period of approximately 30 hours.
