About the PP532

The Bellari Audio PP532 is a compact, fully passive stereo preamplifier for selecting and controlling the volume of up to four line-level sources. It uses no power supply, active electronics, or amplification stages, so it adds no intentional electronic distortion or signal coloration. The unit provides four stereo RCA inputs, with the fourth input duplicated on the front panel as a 3.5 mm stereo jack, and one stereo RCA output for connection to a power amplifier, integrated amplifier, or powered speakers. It is built in a thick red powder-coated steel chassis and is handcrafted in Salt Lake City, Utah. Because it is passive, it is not a phono preamplifier and cannot directly amplify the low-level output of a turntable cartridge; a separate phono stage is required.
