About the Blue Jeans Belden 1505F
The Blue Jeans Cable Belden 1505F is a high-flexibility, precision coaxial cable featuring a compacted stranded center conductor and a double 95% tinned copper braid shield. It is designed for high bandwidth and tight impedance tolerance, making it excellent for analog and digital video applications, including 6G-SDI and 4K video. The cable also provides superb EMI rejection when used as an unbalanced analog audio cable. It has a nominal impedance of 75 Ohms, a stranded 22 AWG (7x29) bare copper conductor, gas-injected foam high-density polyethylene insulation, and a durable PVC jacket. The cable supports SMPTE ST-2081 6G-SDI standards for 6 Gbps data rates and maximum resolutions for 4K video and audio up to 30Hz. It is rated for a maximum operating temperature of 75°C and a voltage rating of 300V RMS. The cable is flexible with a nominal outer diameter of 0.242 inches and a minimum bending radius of 2.4 inches. It is UL/NEC CM rated for general use.
