The Behringer DCX-2496 Ultra-Drive Pro is a professional loudspeaker management system designed for precise setup and control of multi-speaker systems in venues ranging from cinemas to concert halls. It features 3 analog inputs (one can be used as a digital stereo AES/EBU input) and 6 analog outputs, providing maximum flexibility in a single rack space. Equipped with high-end 24-bit/96 kHz AKM A/D and D/A converters, it delivers exceptional signal integrity and a wide dynamic range of up to 120 dB. The unit offers multiple crossover filter types (Butterworth, Bessel, Linkwitz-Riley) with selectable slopes from 6 to 48 dB/octave, adjustable delays for all inputs and outputs for precise timing correction, and zero-attack limiters for speaker protection. It includes dynamic and parametric EQs for all inputs and outputs, an integrated sample rate converter for digital signals from 32 to 96 kHz, and supports four mono/stereo output operating modes. Control is possible via free ULTRADRIVE PRO software through RS-232 and RS-485 interfaces.
